03 Oct SUCCEEDING THE ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION OF ASSOCIATIONS IN EUROPE – Final conference
Supporting associations in their ecological transition: a conference to provide tools to allow associations to reduce the carbon footprint of their activities.
Supporting European associations in their ecological transition: this is the subject of the final conference of the TEDDA project (“Ecological transition for associations”). The event, which will be held on Thursday 30 November 2023 in Brussels, will feature presentations from experts, debates, discovery workshops, a lunch served on site… and will also put you in touch with representatives from organisations in Belgium, France and Spain.
In the face of global warming, the participation of all the players in society is essential. Associations have a key role to play in proposing innovative solutions, thanks to their ability to bring together citizens who are concerned about the planet’s disruption. Many associations have already come up with solutions to play a part in the ecological transition, but they are struggling to share their practices. Other associations would like to be able to inform their managers, employees, volunteers, etc. or be guided in the actions to be taken, but don’t know how to go about it.
This conference will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and discover the innovative results of the TEDDA project. Supported by Erasmus+, this European project aims to develop tools for raising awareness of environmental issues and methodologies for sustainably reducing the carbon footprint of the day-to-day activities of small and medium-sized associations.
Find out more about the conference programme and register (free and compulsory to avoid food waste) by completing this form. It will be conducted in French, with no translation service.
The organisers look forward to welcoming you with a cup of coffee (or tea) from 9.30am, with the first speech starting at 10am.
